Columbia Manufacturing Inc., an aerospace company has immediate openings for the following positions

 

CMM-Gauge Calibration Technician

Shift: 1st

Summary:

Administers and performs measurement and testing of new and current products and gaging to ensure conformance to customer standards.

Ability to provide metrology and testing of new and changes products. Must be able to read blueprints and must have strong inspection skills.

Experience: Minimum five years CMM experience.

Layout Inspector

Shift: 1st

Summary:

Ability to work from prints, tables, specifications and acceptance criteria or data to layout and inspect a wide variety pf parts, materials and components. Must ensure the integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained at all times.

Able to use gauges, measuring equipment and other detection methods to ensure product conformance.

Full knowledge of measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, height and depth gauges, shadow graphs, etc.

Experience: Minimum five years layout experience in an Aerospace setting.

Machinist (1st and 2nd Shift)

Shift: 1st & 2nd

Summary:

Ability to set up and operate complex jobs with minimal supervision. Read and understand Op sheets.

Ability to use standard measuring instruments (micrometers, Gauges, Calipers, etc.) Mount, install, align and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and workpieces on machines using hand tools and measuring instruments.

Experience: Qualified candidate must have at least five years machining experience in a manufacturing environment.

Maintenance Mechanic

Shift: 1st

Summary:

Ability to troubleshoot a variety of production equipment and to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to maintain preventative maintenance programs and keep logs current along with making repair reports where necessary.

Respond to requests for assistance from operators in various departments.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

 Engineering Technician


Shift: 1st

Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to processing ECR’s (Engineering Change Requests), ballooning customer supplied prints, updating routing, reviewing customer supplied specifications.


Experience: Must have 2 years’ experience with Solidworks.
