CNC and Conventional Turning Services

Columbia Manufacturing, Inc.'s CNC and conventional turning capabilities have the ability to turn parts as large as 72" in diameter and produce components for a wide range of industries. We offer contour, form, taper, and straight turning as well as external and internal threading. Our turning processes also include parting/cutting, facing, internal forming, drilling, knurling and boring. We have equipment with CNC control capabilities, CAM programming, and pallet shuttles with hydraulic, three-jaw or four-jaw chucks. In-house custom tooling and fixturing is available in our full tool room that has EDM capabilities.

We work with a wide range of materials including titanium, aluminum, and nickel-chromium based superalloys allows us to meet the needs of our industrial clients. Parts measuring up to 72" in diameter by 60" in length are produced to tightest tolerances of ±.0005" when over 36" and ±.0001" when under 36".
